Abstract

The article discusses the social problems of cities and the countryside context of challenges for local social policy. Issues of marginalization and poverty, social segregation in cities, the role of architecture and neighborhood in building healthy social bonds are discussed. In the case of the city, the policy task will be to eliminate income differences, ensure access to housing and appropriate spatial planning, which would create a space conducive to building social bonds. In rural areas, the problem is peripherality and difficult access to health care systems, education and public transport.
