Abstract
The article analyzes the political situation in Poland in the late 1970s and 80s. The author seeks to identify the reasons behind the imposition of martial law in the country in December of 1981, the event which over time has led to the dismantling of the socialist establishment in Poland and other Warsaw Pact countries.Downloads
